It selects random images from a user-selected directory containing images files. The user also defines the interval at which the images are to be cycled. Requires AmigaDOS 3.1 only, no additional software is needed. Image file formats supported are those for which datatypes are available on the user's system. BackDrop also includes a facility to change the Workbench screenmode (dimensions and number of colors), but does not impact system boot-up, the user's default Workbench Pattern or default Workbench Screenmode. Tooltype and ARexx support. Installation is simple. Full amigaguide documentation is enclosed. Registered users enjoy indefinite operation. Version 1.4 adds ARexx support. Furthermore, version 1.4 allows users to retain their .info (icon) files in their selected image directory. Version 1.5 is AmigaDOS 3.5 compatible and is screen font sensitive.
