The original can be found here as pix/misc/atfuture.jpeg which I downloaded a year ago. This is the jpeg version and has a lighter blue sky. Not happy with the quality I descided to take the picture apart to its 4 components, the text, sky, cube and clouds. I then removed all unused colours on the parts, and sorted the colours. The text and clouds were tidied up. The cube and sky were completely redrawn with proper gradient fills done with DPaint. The parts were merged to form the picture. A 3d border was then added to make the picture have a glass look. I would like to thank Harv Laser who originally scanned in picture from a slide. I use it as a bootpic, using the excellant picboot. I thought I'd lost all files from my Amiga, but found a backup recently (2007)! There were files which were meant for Aminet but never got uploaded, so I'm doing it now (some 10 years later).
