Short: Xfig v1.15 - a structured drawing tool. 020+ & MUI Author: Ken Yap/Brian Smith and others/ Terje Pedersen(Amiga part) Uploader: terje37 online no Type: gfx/edit Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is an Amiga port of an X11 structured drawing tool that lets the user interactiely create and manipulate on objects such as lines/circles rectangles/splines/text and other elements. Xfig can produce output in several different formats: Encapsulated PostScript, IBM-GL (HP/GL), Pic, PiCTeX, LaTeX, box, epic, eepic, eepicemu, textyl, tpic, X11 Bitmap, X11 Pixmap and gif. This is the binary part of the program. Examples and docs are in xfig_docs.lha If you have a key-file you'll also need the transfig and fig2dev programs that are in xfig_support.lha. An update to fig2dev has been uploaded along with xfig10. (fig2dev_upd1.lha) Also get the pstoedit2.lha which will convert postscript files (not all) into xfig editable files. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Amigas with 68020+ OS3.0+ and MUI 2.0+, and a big Workbench (640x400 minimum) is needed. Also 4 mb of ram may come in handy.. HISTORY: 1.15: Recent fixes in libX11 may well have fixed problems on some configurations. xfig on a public screen could allocate color 0 but libX11 assumed it couldn't.. 1.14: Some internal libX11 fixes. 1.13: The requesters didn't have a default directory. When exporting then loading then exporting the export filename ended up with the wrong extension. 1.12: Found a bug when you tried to load a file via a relative path. libX11: Since intuition clipping has been removed the text wasn't clipped against the borders of the drawing area. libX11: FreeBitMap was called without a prior WaitBlit causing some ugly bitmaps. libX11: Some other bugs in libX11 removed. Compiled with SAS/C 6.57 (Great work guys!) 1.11: Improvements in libX11 should make zooming safer. No longer relying on intuition's clipping which had a tendency to freak out on the gfx card workbenches. In the edit window the forward/backward arrow type was incorrectly initialized. libx11: The last endpoint in a closed polygon didn't get any join gfx (bevel/miter/round).
