Short: Add events to your IFF-anims, v1.50 Author: vigi@cybercomm.nl (Marco Vigelius) Uploader: vigi cybercomm nl (Marco Vigelius) Type: gfx/edit Architecture: m68k-amigaos What is AnimatED? ----------------- AnimatED allows you to add sound and timing to your IFF-animations using an easy to use GUI. Let's introduce some powerful features available in AnimatED: * Support for IFF-animations (modes 5 and 7). * Support for all screenmodes (including AGA), * IFF-soundsamples, which can be played through any channel you like. You can also set the volume and the pitch at which the sample will be played. Looped soundsamples are supported. * Framespeed, change at any point in your animation the speed at which your animation is played. The speed is measured in Frames Per Second. * Wait, pause your animation for an amount set in seconds. * Play Sound-/Noise-/ProTracker modules during your animation. * Easy to use GUI. * Your finished productions can be easily played back in realtime using the stand-alone freely distributable AnimatEDPlay program. What are the system requirements? --------------------------------- For AnimatED you'll need an Amiga with at least Kickstart 2.04 and 2Mb of memory, more memory is recommended. AnimatED also needs a 68020 processor or better. What's new in version 1.50? --------------------------- * Redesigned all windows! * Seperated 'Fade In' and 'Fade Out' within the Fade event. Which makes it possible to for example fade in the palette and fade out a trackermodule on the same frame. * The name of the project you are currently working on is now displayed in the titlebar of the Project window. * The current frame is now displayed in every event windows title bar. * The current frame is now kept highlighted in the Frames listviewer. (NOTE: On 2.x Amiga's an extra boxout will be shown instead of the frame being highlighted) * Added the 'Ask ScreenMode' option in the Prefs (animation) window. When activated this option will make AnimatEDPlay show a screenmode-requester from where the viewer can select a displaymode to view the animation in. * The tracker event in AnimatED now checks if the selected file is a compatible trackermodule before loading it into memory. * Removed the HAM screen checkbox in the Prefs menu. (HAM screens should already be recognised automatically by AnimatED) * Removed a bug which caused not all Chip memory to be freed when an animation was removed from memory. * Removed a bug which caused the screen the animation is displayed on to reopen when the cancel button in the screenmode-requester was pressed. * Removed a bug which made AnimatED crash on some Amiga's when the Filter option was selected in the Sound event. * Added some great looking NewIcons for AnimatED, created by Brian Jones, to the archive. (thanks Brian!)
