Overview: Heretic is a dark fantasy first-person shooter video game released in 1994. It was developed by Raven Software, published by id Software, and distributed by GT Interactive. Chocolate Heretic is a port of the Heretic source code to the Chocolate Doom codebase. The aim is to develop a Heretic source port that includes the features of Chocolate Doom. This port was made possible by using the Heretic Branch of Chocolate-Doom Version 1.6 Minimum Requirements: - Amiga 1200 (AGA) - OS3.1 - 68040/40mhz CPU (note the game will run on an 020/030 at low framerates) - At least 16Meg of FAST memory - 60Meg HDD space Recommended Requirements for Optimal Performance: - Amiga A1200/A4000 with fast HDD transfer rates - OS3.9 with Boing Bag 2 or higher installed - 68060/50Mhz or higher - 32Meg FAST Memory or higher - Prisma Megamix music card OR - Amiga 500 or Amiga 600 with a Vampire 2 V500/V600 installed - MIDI interface with a Roland SC-55 or MT-32 Usage: 1) You will need a copy of the commerical game. Place the following files in your Heretic folder : HERETIC.WAD 2) Double click on the Heretic icon and enjoy the game.
