Short: Replacement for the DLG's Freshen command Author: greeky@ouzonix.ruhr.de (Ioannis Chatziandreou> Uploader: greeky ouzonix ruhr de (Ioannis Chatziandreou> Type: comm/dlg Version: 1.0 Requires: AmigaOS 2/3.x, DLG2000 v1.2.3 Architecture: m68k-amigaos Distribution: anywhere, everywhere, please mirror! Superfresh is a replacement for the DLG's Freshen command, and its based on Luca Spada's "Skyfreshen". The Freshen command is used to rebuild the File.Dat (a file index present in all your file areas) reading all the area's xxx.fd. SuperFresh features : - Its faster than DLG's Freshen - Areas to be refreshed can be specified on command line - Can freshen without setting comments on files (faster) - Can optionally delete non-existing entries from file areas - Handles extended filepaths - cause DLG v1.2.3 have a bug so if you use closeareas..... the password "DLG" is used by default, so you must use this password to reopen the area again. superfreshen knows the bug and works using the righ password for closing or opening a area.
